Next Concert
Join guest conductor Roland Yeung and the orchestra for the third concert of the 2026 80th anniversary season, in which we welcome Reuben Morgan from the BallaRat Pack to narrate Prokofiev's timeless children's tale of Peter and the Wolf.
The concert begins with the Dance of the Hours by Ponchielli and after interval we perform Gabriel's Oboe from Enrico Morricone's score to "The Mission" featuring our principal oboist Sophie Wallace, the jewel that is Schubert's "Little" C major symphony, his symphony no 6 and the concert concludes with the stirring Hungarian Rhapsody no 2 by Franz Liszt.
Due to the continuing temporary closure of the South Melbourne Town Hall, this concert will be in St Stephen's Anglican Church, 360 Church St Richmond.
